Origin Water membrane bioreactor - Kunming No 10 Sewage Treatment Plant

The is currently processing the largest volume of underground sewage in the whole nation. The plant has an investment of 747 million yuan and an area of 59 square kilometers. The plant processes a scale of 150,000 tons per day and produces 45,000 tons of water per day. Using the Origin Water membrane bioreactor (MBR), an advanced wastewater treatment measure, the plant only takes up 34 percent of the traditional method's land usage, but water quality is even better than national top level urban sewage emission standards. The plant will spare more sewage capacity to protect Dianchi Lake.

Coaxial electric flocculation system - Yunnan Yangzonghai arsenic contamination wastewater treatment project

The Yunnan Yangzonghai arsenic contamination wastewater treatment project has been included in the national trial projects of heavy metal contaminated water treatment. The project uses a coaxial electric flocculation system to process wastewater, which is a new generation of wastewater treatment technology developed out of the original high-voltage pulse flocculation sewage processor by the company's independent research and development.

The new technology is more effective than common electric flocculation, and the designed capacity is 1,000 cubic meters per day. Influent arsenic volume is greater than or equal to 5 mg/L and effluent arsenic volume is greater than or equal to 0.05 mg/L, with a purification rate reaching 99 percent.

Biological remediation enhancing technology – River way governance project

This project adds an efficient microorganism recipe, "bacteria + enzyme," into rivers in order to speed up the degradation of organic pollutants in river sediment and rapidly reconstruct the bottom of the food chain that is severely damaged.

This lays a foundation for the ascending food chain's echelon recovery, and benthic fauna's implantation into the sediment. Through artificial ecological engineering and aeration technology to improve water quality and increase transparency, a dynamic equilibrium will be reached between water microorganisms, aquatic plants, aquatic animals and sediment, and water quality, which gradually will form a natural ecosystem.

This project is selected as a pilot example of river renovation by the Ministry of Housing to improve the urban environment and drinking water security.
