Administrators of the Yunnan Xishuangbanna Boten Economic Development Zone (Xishuangbanna Economic Zone) visited the Kunming National Hi-Tech Industries Development Zone on June 10.

Dao Wen, dean of the Xishuangbanna Economic Zone, outlined its resources, industrial advantages, recent development and challenges met. Dao proposed that Kunming could aid and support Xishuangbanna in attracting investment, industrial development and personnel training.

Dong Baotong, secretary of the party working committee and dean of the general administration of Kunming Hi-Tech, gave a warm welcome to the Xishuangbanna delegation, saying Kunming would deepen its cooperation with Xishuangbanna in the construction of a science and technology park and border trade as strategic partners to each other.
