The second China-South Asia Expo and 22nd Kunming Import and Export Fair were held simultaneously at Kunming International Convention and Exhibition Center from June 6-10, hosted by Kunming National Hi-Tech Industries Development Zone.

The zone has been actively strengthening its ties with major enterprises and has attracted several high quality projects. The zone had secured nine big projects by the June 7 contract signing ceremony covering an investment of 23.92 billion yuan ($3.83 billion). They include infrastructure projects, BeiDou Navigation Satellite System, city square construction, bio-tech and pharmaceutical industries, financial services and liquid natural gas projects.

Supervisors were invited to tour the zone following the signing and discuss more details of the projects’ implementation.
