"Hundred-day battle" launches in Kunming Hi-Tech Zone

Kunming National Hi-Tech Industries Development Zone held a meeting on Friday to launch an activity called the "hundred-day battle" to endow the zone with a high quality of service and efficiency.

The activity is aimed at mobilizing support from all over the zone to achieve the economic and social development targets set by Kunming's government.

Wang Minzheng, director of the zone's administration committee, said at the meeting that a rapid development of the zone relies on efforts of all its members. In the activity, the zone plans to focus on the construction of promising projects and accelerate the formation of industrial clusters in order to attract more investment.

Wang demanded that one of the most important missions during the "hundred-day battle" is to improve the zone's service quality by perfecting the operating system, improving the efficiency of decision making, and elevating the qualifications of employees.

Later, the zone's economic development over the first half of the year and specific arrangements of the activity were explained to the delegates.
