The 3rd China International Advanced Materials Industry Exposition took place in Harbin, Heilongjiang province from Sept 1 to 3. The Kunming Hi-Tech Zone and the Kunming Sino-Platinum Metals Catalyst Co in the zone attended the expo on behalf of the high-tech zones in Yunnan province.

The expo attracted more than 1,100 exhibitors from 12 countries and territories. More than 2,000 items were on display. Ten enterprises from Yunnan attended the expo, among which five were from the Kunming Hi-Tech Zone. The products of Yunnan’s enterprises were acclaimed for their high-grade and high-precision technology. The precious metal functional materials of Kunming Sino-Platinum Metals Co and the products of Yunnan Germanium won the gold medals of the expo.

The expo was co-organized by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People’s Republic of China and Heilongjiang Provincial Government. It was aimed at demonstrating the development situation of advanced materials all around the world, promoting cooperation among enterprises, and boosting the rapid development of the industry.
