Wang Minzheng, director of the administrative committee of the Kunming Hi-Tech Zone, inspected the Yunnan Wulong Motor Co on the afternoon of Oct 15. Officials from the investment promotion bureau, housing bureau, planning bureau, and directors of the Wulong Motor Co were also present.
Jiang Anning, general manager of the Wulong Motor Co, gave a brief outline regarding recent R&D, production and sales to the delegation. He said that for the next stage, the company will focus on the production and promotion of electric motor vehicles including coaches, tourist buses, and logistics cars, so as to make a contribution to the popularization of new energy cars and improve the environment in Yunnan. In addition, Jiang expressed his gratitude to Wang and the administrative committee for their efficient working and good service.
Wang spoke highly of Wulong Motor Co’s achievements in the past half year after its reorganization. He also said that what Wulong is focused on – replacing traditional vehicles with new energy cars – is a milestone in Yunnan’s industrial history. He hoped that the company could seize the current development opportunity and capture the large market in southwestern China. Wang also promised that the Kunming Hi-Tech Zone would continue to provide the company with superior services.
After the meeting, Wang led the inspection team to have a test ride on an electric bus.
