Luo Wenli, secretary of the community, said that residents in the community found it was hard to find a job due to their low literacy levels. He hoped that the Zone would lend a hand to solve their employment difficulties. In addition, the turbid drinking water in the community greatly harmed residents’ health. Luo asked Wang whether the administrative committee could allocate some funds to improve the water quality.

After that, Wang said that the Zone would immediately provide funds to deal with the water problems and he promised that the improvement work would be completed in two months. As for the employment difficulties, he said that the Zone would carefully study the community situation and work out some measures as soon as possible.

44 resident representatives also talked about their worries and difficulties with regards to medical insurance, compensation for land acquisition, road construction and registration for permanent residence. Wang answered all of them in detail and required relevant departments to come up with solutions in a scheduled time.

“What you need is what we will spare no efforts to fight for. The administrative committee promises that we will provide everyone in the Zone with superior services,” said Wang at the end of the meeting.
