Wang Minzheng, director of the administrative committee of the Kunming Hi-Tech Zone, led officials from several departments to visit the Yunnan Water Investment Co on Oct 27.

Yang Fang, secretary of the Party committee of the company, outlined the company’s recent construction projects and pilot production results of several newly-developed technologies. He said that the new technologies could fill the void in sewage treatment and water resources management in Yunnan province, leading Southwest China and expanding markets in Southeast Asia. In addition, Yang listed difficulties the company encountered in land planning, fire protection, and water supplies.

Wang Minzheng held discussions on the spot with relevant departments to help the company solve its problems. Also, Wang said he hoped that the company could accelerate the construction of new projects and make a contribution to the water environment improvement in Kunming.
