Social science researchers pay Kunming Hi-Tech Zone a visit

The Kunming National Hi-Tech Industries Development Zone played host to a group of researchers from the Institute of Economics at the Chinese Academy of Social Science on Nov 5, who have been focusing on studying the theory of economic growth.
Pei Yanbing, vice-director of zone administration, held a discussion session with the guests and officials of the industrial park construction and land and resource bureaus, to describe their construction and planning for the industrial base and its resource advantages, after which, Zhao Hu, head of the zone’s housing and urban-rural development department, gave a brief description of their rental apartments and shantytown renovation.
The head of the group, Liu Xiahui, responded by commenting favorably on their ideas and performance in industrial distribution and sewage treatment.
