A strategic cooperation agreement was signed between the Kunming Hi-Tech Zone and Yunnan Construction Engineering Group on projects concerning land development and infrastructure construction in the Zone on Nov 18.
At the signing ceremony, Liu Yong, GM of YCEG, expressed his gratitude to the Zone for their support in recent years and looked to the future for further cooperation with confidence and hope.

The two decided to work together on infrastructure construction, shantytown renovation and land development in Majinpu new town in the Zone. The cooperation patterns can be diversified, such as joint stock, BT, BOT and EPC, which will be decided later based on the specific characteristics of the construction projects.
At present, the Kunming Hi-Tech Zone is focusing on the construction of Majinpu new town, whose investment in infrastructure construction is estimated to exceed 5 billion yuan ($815 million).
