The administrative committee of the Majinpu Community in the Kunming Hi-Tech Zone recently visited more than 150 poor households and helped more than 350 elderly people with their daily living problems.

Since the beginning of 2014, the community administrative committee has set up files on 151 households in financial and material difficulties in Majinpu and regularly communicated with them regarding their difficulties. With the approach of winter, the committee has allocated nearly 40,000 yuan ($6,500) to buy them rice and edible oil, and other necessities for winter.
