Directors of the Kunming Hi-Tech Zone went to the forest region of Majinpu Community on Jan 7 to inspect forest fire prevention work there, accompanied by Zhao Shujun, commander of the forest fire prevention headquarters.

The inspection team visited several monitoring stations in the forest, watched a fire drill and listened to the community committee's fire protection work plan for 2015.

Wang Minzheng, director of the administrative committee of the Zone, requested the fire prevention headquarters to reinforce the management of personnel who patrol the forest, improving their fire-extinguishing ability, and enhancing publicity to promote awareness of fire prevention among local people.
