Pei Yanbing, the vice-director of the Kunming Hi-Tech Zone’s administrative committee visited all the impoverished households and the elderly Party members in Ke’ao Community within the Zone on Feb 10, greeting and giving out gifts to them for the Spring Festival.

Pei visited Zhang Cuiyin, an elderly poor woman living alone, and had a chat with her about her family and source of income.Being aware of the fact that she faces challenges in life, Pei gave her some money and asked the community committee to help her financially and mentally.

At the house of Yan Zhenglin, a senior Party member and former civil servant, Pei was told about Yan’s mobility problems, which consequently impaired his communication with others in the community. Pei encouraged him to take some rehabilitation exercises and take part in community activities more often.

Pei encouraged all the senior citizens in the community to face the difficulties in life with a positive attitude and wished them a happy and healthy Year of Goat.
