A team from the Kunming Hi-Tech Zone went to the normal universities in Chongqing, Nanjing and Wuhan to recruit new teachers from March 9 to 13.

The working team visited Southwest China Normal University, Nanjing Normal University and Central China Normal University.

They outlined the development of educational undertakings in the Kunming Hi-Tech Zone and explained the Zone’s preferential policies on talent introduction, hoping to attract competent graduates to make contributions to the Zone’s development.

Their efforts paid off. Numerous job seekers showed interest in the Zone at the job fairs.

This year, the Zone plans to offer 69 teaching jobs. Instead of only attending job fairs within Yunnan province, the recruiting team went to other provinces in China to strengthen publicity of the Zone and to attract talents from a wider range.

The recruiting team was led by Zhao Shujun, vice-director of the administrative committee of the Zone, and formed by directors of the local human resources bureau, education bureau, and primary and secondary schools.
