A delegation from the Kunming Hi-Tech Zone visited Nanjing, provincial capital of Jiangsu province on April 16-18 to be briefed about a production project of special composite membrane.

The project is owned by Jiangsu PanChina International Technology Investment Co, mainly for the production of macromolecular inorganic nano composite membrane. The membrane technology is important in the development of water industry, which is one of the key industries in the Kunming Hi-Tech Zone.

Led by Zhao Xiaoping, the vice director of the administrative committee of the Zone, the delegation visited the company’s membrane R&D laboratory, production lines of the composite membrane, and the Nanjing Water Environment Education Center located in the company compound.

Ran Jinggang, the vice general manager of PanChina Co, explained the prospects for establishing a production plant in the Kunming Hi-Tech Zone from the technology, industrial prospects and platform construction points of views.

Zhao expressed interest in PanChina’s development pattern and marketing strategies. He invited the company to visit the Zone in May and instructed the investment promotion bureau to enhance communication with the company.
