One of the top 100 enterprises in Yunnan province, the Metallurgical Construction Corp is getting ready to show itself off at the upcoming China-South Asia Expo, to be held in the city of Kunming, Yunnan province on June 12 to reach out to Southeast Asian markets via a branding strategy.

The corporation's deputy general manager Liao Qixun said in an interview on May 27 that they are confident in future collaborating with South and Southeast Asian partners from the public and private sectors, and that they already have prepared bilingual brochures in Chinese and English, and interpreters who speak English, Thai, and Vietnamese to serve customers at their exhibition site.

They also have promo videos and one-touch controls that let visitors learn more about the company, which was established back in 1964. It is a State-owned entity that has transformed under provincial government supervision now is a strong competitor in the construction business. Over a five-decade period it has left its footprint across Asia and Europe, developing hydro-electric stations, residential buildings, commercial buildings, cold-chain storage facilities, and utility projects.
