The Pu’er Ancient Tea Horse Road Tourist Area is located in Ning’er Hani and Yi autonomous county and is a national AA scenic spot. Visitors can enjoy spending time in the tea square, national unity garden, tea house, and also Pu’er Mountain and Longtan Park.
Ning’er is the origin of the Ancient Tea Horse Road, through which Pu’er tea was transported to four corners of the world. Ning’er is also known for its glorious revolutionary history and was a center of the New Democratic Revolution. It is home to the Monument to the National Unity Oath, which is a testament to China’s ethnic solidarity.
The scenic spot features Pu’er tea culture, subtropics landscape, karst landform and Hani and Yi customs, and visitors will be able to enjoy a taste of the local ethnic culture and history.
