Pu'er took part in the 2015 International Forum for Agriculture and Business Brand Development in Beijing from Sept 19-20, according to the city's local newspaper.
During the forum, a special discussion session was held focusing on the exploration of new development modes of agriculture at high altitudes. Some 26 enterprises and professional farming cooperatives - including Pu'er Songmao Pharmaceutical Co - attended the conference to promote their high altitude agricultural products.
A special exhibition area designated to displaying the high altitude agriculture products from Pu’er was constructed, allowing visitors to get a close look at new product innovations.
A number of visitors expressed an interest in traveling to Pu'er after seeing the city's exhibition.
