Zhouzhuang builds a new photography base

A seminar on the theme of "photography and tourism" was held in Zhouzhuang, Jiangsu province on Dec 18.

Experts and scholars from the China Photographers Association, Jiangsu Photographers Association and Jiangsu Provincial Department of Tourism attended the seminar.

After a heated discussion, the attendees decided to introduce an innovative development mode featuring a combination of photography and tourism to Zhouzhuang, one of the most famous water towns in China.

A special photography base named the Photography and Art Courtyard was unveiled and opened to the public after the meeting.

Travelers will be free to rest in the courtyard, read photography journals and appreciate the enchanting water town views in the pictures on display in the center.

Photographers in Zhouzhuang may also get the chance to meet kindred spirits there and discuss photography and travelling with each other.

In addition to being a place offering photography services, the Photography and Art Courtyard shall also function as a place to host various activities, including photography exhibitions and cultural and art salons.
