Topic: Scouting for concubines

An "agent" offering to search universities in Beijing and Shanghai for potential mistresses is advertising their services online, even providing a detailed price list for different women. It was detected by Beijing police and the owner arrested.

Men show off two things - cars and women. The woman's degree and the reputation of their university are just like certificates or a costly bag brand. Young girls sometimes are easily lured because they don't know what they really want. Girls, youth is so precious. Go and find your true love and don't be cheated by money.

Such practices should not be tolerated. The police have done a good job (tracking down the host address). Schools can do something, too. Female students who attempt to be mistresses for money should be kicked out.

It's sad to see more and more female students resort to being mistresses to earn money. I think it's related to the increasing openness of our society. Everyone has different levels of desires and different ways of making a living, but can such openness be regarded as social progress? It's really morally degrading.

Topic: Melon-choly farmers

Sales of watermelons have been severely hit this year after pictures were published of fruit that exploded due to an additive used to make them grow larger. However, farmer Fu Youlian in Sichuan who set up a micro blog extolling the purity of his melons saw his crop sell out.

In the future, micro blogs can sell any product. If the price is cheaper, individual costumers will benefit. But I have a question: if I only want to purchase a few, how will he manage to transport them to me? Does he deliver?

On one hand, farmers have stocks of watermelon that they can't sell. On the other, we can't buy big and sweet melons. I miss the good old days when farmers rode a flatbed tricycle loaded with good watermelons to my residential building. It's hard to find tasty and fresh melons nowadays.

People buy watermelons from Fu Youlian because his melons are free from additives. We customers are just scared of products with various additives. Maybe only a few farmers used the additive in their melons, maybe the additive really does no harm to people as said by experts, but people now just refuse to buy.

Topic: Final sentence

An order from the Supreme People's Court on Tuesday that suggests more criminals that would usually be executed could receive a two-year reprieve has set fingers typing online.

It's unrealistic to abolish the death sentence in China at the moment. Every year we read about horrible murder cases. If the death penalty is removed, the law's power to deter will be weakened, so some people will conduct more severe crimes. The death penalty should be abolished, but not now.

What is a civilized society? It isn't one without the death penalty, but a place where people will comply with rules and laws whether there is a death penalty or not.

The death penalty is the most cruel and uncivilized way to punish a person. A man should not be put to death for whatever reason. - "ZHUSHUNZHONG" ON QQ; FOLLOWERS: 243,328

Society sometimes should shoulder the responsibility for the crimes committed. Maybe these people deserve a second chance. The best way is to give them proper guidance and education. - "LIWENPING" ON QQ; FOLLOWERS: 12
