Jorya presents Wilde collection

Chinese high-end womenswear brand Jorya recently showed its 2017 autumn/winter collection at its Beijing flagship store. The collection, inspired by the The Nightingale and the Rose by Oscar Wilde, offers cocktail dresses, gowns, handbags and accessories. Jorya Weekend, a sub-line of the brand, showcased a more casual collection.

Caroline shows latest line

Chinese womenswear brand Caroline recently held a preview of its 2017 autumn/winter collection in Beijing. The collection, themed on "Elegance" and "Enjoy", was inspired by swans. The collection showcased coats, sweaters, dresses and handbags made from cashmere and fur. A children collection was also presented.

Anmani offers new creations

Chinese womenswear brand Anmani showed its new collection at Beijing's C5 Art Center last month. The brand displayed clothes, accessories and handbags in neutral colors and vibrant prints. It also presented a collection of fur coats and accessories.

Florentia Village opens outlet

Luxury outlet Florentia Village opened a new branch in Ezhou, in Hubei province, recently. This is the fifth Florentia Village in China, after Tianjin, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Hong Kong. The outlet offers brands such as Brooks Brothers, Ports, Guess, Nike, Adidas, Puma, Elegant Prosper and Marisfrolg. Discounts are up to 80 percent all year round.

Sheme shoes embroider a past

The Chinese luxury footwear brand Sheme recently worked with designer Laurence Xu for his haute couture show in Paris. The collection is inspired by the works of painters Li Keran and Zhang Daqian and highlights Chinese ethnic embroidery. Sheme's shoes are also influenced by the scenery and culture of places along the ancient Silk Road.
