Officials meet Olympic Truce Center Director

BOCOG official Liu Jingmin and Wangwei(L)meet with visiting Director of the International Olympic Truce Center Evangelos Syrigos and Director of the International Cooperation and Development Department of the International Olympic Committee T.A. Ganda Sithole Ocotober 20, 2006. [BOCOG]

Liu Jingmin, vice mayor of Beijing and executive vice president of the Beijing Organizing Committee for the Games of the XXIX Olympiad (BOCOG) and Wang Wei, executive vice president of BOCOG met with visiting Director of the International Olympic Truce Center Evangelos Syrigos and Director of the International Cooperation and Development Department of the International Olympic Committee T.A. Ganda Sithole on Friday.

The two sides had a cordial discussion on the issues related to Olympic Truce.

According to information reaching here, Syrigos and Sithole are also scheduled to attend the 5th World Forum on Sport, Education and Culture in Beijing from October 22 -- 24.
