    Gold medal winner of vaulting horse at the 1984 Olympic Games and the 1988 Olympic Games, respectively.

 

    Sports Career:

 

    1973, Lou Yun began receiving gymnastics training at the Hangzhou Sports School for Amateurs, and in the same year he entered the provincial sports school of Zhejiang beginning systematic and professional training. 1977, Lou Yun was selected by the National Gymnastic team and since then intensified training started.

    the reputed 'King of Vaulting Horse' among mass public

 

    At Present:

 

    Though Lou Yun began his new career as businessman after retirement, people still remember this 'King of Vaulting Horse' for his outstanding performance during his 16-year athlete life: more than 40 vaulting horse gold medals, including 3 times of world champion.
