Preparations for the Beijing Paralympic Games are progressing smoothly, with almost all of the specially equipped venues completed.

The 20 competition venues, 28 training gymnasiums and the Paralympic Village are all finished. Tickets for the Paralympic Games will go on sale in April.

The Paralympic torch will be lit at Beijing's Temple of Heaven on August 28th and will be relayed through 20 cities around the world, representing the 20 sports of the Beijing Paralympic Games.
