HONG KONG -- The Hong Kong Jockey Club said Thursday that it had completed the construction of the Beijing Olympic equestrian venue at Sha Tin.

"The venue itself is compact, so everything has been designed to optimize the space on the site," the Hong Kong Jockey Club's Project Manager for the Olympic venues construction, Julian Wright, said at a briefing for local media.
