Olaf Tufte from Norway claimed the men's single sculls title at the Beijing Olympics on Saturday, clocking six minutes and 59.83 seconds in the final.
Ondrej Synek from the Czech Republic took the sliver in 7:00.63, while Mahe Drysdale from New Zealand got the bronze in 7:01.56.
