1,The 29th summer Olympic Games opened in Beijing on August 8, 112 years after the Games' modern revival. More than 4 billion people around the world watched it and 9 surveys about the big performance also received lots of responds , and two of them as following:

I think China has outdone themselves! It was truly the most spectacular Olympic Opening Ceremonies I have ever seen... absolutely breathtaking and well done. Every performance had meaning and beauty.

Liu Xiang's decision is smart concerning the long run of his career. And it is very common for athletes to pull out when they have serious injuries.I feel sad to see him hurt and could perform in front of thousands of people. I deeply believe that he has tried his best. Otherwise, He would pulled out at the first run. He is the hero of all times in China and in our heart.
