Liu Xiang runs in torch relay ceremony

China's 110m hurdles record-holder Liu Xiang holds the Olympic torch aloft during the the Beijing Olympic torch relay ceremony at Tiananmen Square Monday morning. Liu becomes the first relay runner after Chinese President Hu Jintao lit a cauldron and officially announced the start of the the round-the-world relay. [Xinhua]
