Puppy love shrinks children's happy hours and adds more pressures to primary school students, says an article on the website www.rednet.cn. Following is an excerpt:

Recent online outrage about primary school students using scribbled notes to secretly express their love for classmates smashed the stereotype of them in the eyes of the general public. Such kind of stories have raised concerns about the trends of calf love among young students.

As young as they are, the pupils communicated their love like adults with poems and entreaties for kisses from their girlfriends. Some of them even got themselves into love triangles.

In fact, society, schools and families are all to blame for the spread of puppy love among such young students.

First, families can't help them understand love if they express a curiosity in it. Second, society is unable to build a clean environment for children: it's easy for them to get access to love-related information from TV dramas, films and Internet.

Third, primary schools have blindly adopted sex education.
