Comment on "More than the blues" (China Daily, Feb 16)
From the perspective of psychology, people who have enjoyed a relatively long holiday will surely feel uncomfortable adapting to work, because it requires them to reluctantly respond to work pressure.
But for the sake of higher promotion, for self-fulfillment and for self-development, people always have to make the transition rapidly.
Depressed spirits exert a passive influence on our career. If we fail to overcome them, our future could be negatively influenced.
Devoting yourself to work and adjusting to the pressure that comes with it are the most constructive and efficient ways to overcome the blues.
In fact, our genes combine necessary leisure or rest time with our ability to adjust to fast-paced work. This is what keeps the balance in the human brain and body.
All we need to do is to meet the challenges.
