Coming to terms with a change of culture

The biggest culture shock I found visiting China for the first time was definitely the population. When I arrived in Shanghai I felt like I had been absorbed into the city, there were so many people! I soon got used to it, however, but the sheer number of people really overwhelmed me. Luckily, everyone was very nice.
