Should tattoos be banned in workplaces?

Each Tattoo has a different meaning and story behind it with each individual. I used to work in a home where we had a rule about this, but later the dress code was abandoned. My patients always want to touch the one I had on my right upper arm, which is a tribal moon band. I always asked them if it offends them, but it never did. I love them and will getting two more.
