How has the Internet changed lives?

The Internet or web has provided a means of using my time more efficiently. With the glut of information at my finger tips I am able to comparison shop, read reviews, and purchase items from my home and have them delivered to my home. I am able to pay bills and manage my bank account over the Internet.
