I am amazed and deeply saddened that in the face of such evidence certain voices within Japan seek to deny the occurrence of this massacre. If the horrors of war are not recognized, how can the world learn from them and build a peaceful future? I take comfort in the belief that the citizens of Japan think differently from those few trying to re-write history.
