As an American having parked in numerous Asian cities I would not hesitate for a moment to ask my wife if she wouldn't mind parking the car. You have not experienced a tight spot until you've tried to park in major Asian city. If you think American Christmas mall parking is torturous, try parking in a city like Beijing, Seoul or Tokyo. You learn the true value of a subcompact car is not gas mileage.
