I remember my first trip to Guangzhou. Saw a mother breastfeeding her baby in public. Back then, I wasn't used to it.
In many cultures, it is a thing done in private. If you have too much milk accumulated, they used a breast pump and store the milk for later. It's a good thing for Chinese mums to know when they go overseas.
Well... whatever works I guess as long as the kid gets the nutrition he/she needs. Breast milk contain antibodies and help children develop their immune system.
