How do foreigners view govt's push against desertification?
Barbara Gordon(US)
The Chinese government is setting an excellent example for the future by filling up these desert spaces. I do think there also has to be more education to the general public on how to protect the environment, by recycling, disposing of waste, and keeping waterways clean. Environmentalism begins with good government policies and steps, but they have to be well regulated or nothing will change. China is taking a step in the right direction. I hope in the future that China can move towards closing down coal factories in order to deal with major industry pollution.
