教育机制体制改革(jiàoyù jīzhì tǐzhì gǎigé): Reforms of the education system
The general offices of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and the State Council have jointly issued a document on deepening reforms of the education system, which stipulates the basic principles and main goal. The document calls for education reforms to focus on promoting fairness and improving the quality of education.
According to the Ministry of Education, China has the world's largest population receiving education. At the end of 2016, the nine-year compulsory education had been completely popularized and senior high school education basically popularized in China.
But there are still some problems that need to be solved, including the unbalanced education resources among various regions and weak links in the education system, such as preschool education and vocational education.
In the next stage of reform, the distribution of resources and the training of teachers should be improved so education can better meet people's demands for educational fairness and high-quality education.
