Tourists visit Longmen Grottoes in the city of Luoyang in China's central province of Henan May 12, 2006. "Longmen Grottoes" is one of China's UNESCO World Heritage sites in Henan Province. Longmen has more than 2,300 grottoes with 110,000 Buddhist images, over 80 dagobas and 2,800 inscribed tablets on cliffs with a length of one kilometre along the Yishui River, where Buddhism was first introduced to China during the Eastern Han Dynasty (25 - 220).
