A Crystal Jelly (Aequorea aequoera) swims in the Aquarium of the Pacific complex in Long Beach, California. This nearly transparent jelly, when disturbed gives off a green-blue glow because of the more than 100 tiny, light-producing organs surrounding its outer bell.
