Photographer: Xie Jiankun

He is working on his master's degree in Fine Art at Syracuse University in the United States. His concentration is the study of the deconstruction and filtering thoughts in terms of contemporary visual arts especially in the form of art photography. He's also studying the unconscious interactivity and conflict between human being and the environment as well as the paradox of self-questioning being existence in the world.

His practice on photography reflects metaphysics of emerging documentary and expression. On the other hand, the metaphysics convinces his philosophical mind of nothingness on subjects he sees in every city, every day.
