People gather to see a one-meter diameter sesame cake exhibited at the 10th Chinese Moon Cake Festival in Chengdu, Southwest China’s Sichuan province on Wednesday. The festival from Sept 8 to 21 will show moon cakes from different areas in China such as Shanghai and Guangdong. A huge moon cake weighing one ton will be exhibited during the festival. Mid-autumn Festival folk culture will also be on display. It’s a festival to enjoy the full moon and a get-together for family members, coming on the 15th day of the eighth lunar month in China.
