Pan Jianwen, an underground tunnel singer from Huangshi of Hubei province, displays his first musical credit license in Beijing on April 15, 2011. Pan was a miner, electricity technical worker and seller before he resorted underground tunnel singing in many major cities in China when his mother died in 2006. Different from other common street singers, he insisted singing music he wrote by himself. “I wish my song could touch many people and gain me a chance to meet an agent,” he said.
