Trucks pile up on a bridge on Shenpan road in Shenmu county, Northwest China's Shaanxi province, Sept 24, 2011. Due to its limited capacity, the 60-kilometer road, a major corridor for transporting coal from Shenmu county to eastern areas, is gridlocked almost everyday. It usually takes between three days to one week for trucks to successfully navigate the road. Shenmu county has a large part to play in the development of the coal industry, with an annual output of 160 million tons of coal. It is located in the north of Shaanxi province, a bordering region of three provinces. [Photo/Xinhua]
