Military personnel search for bodies washed away in a river in Ciudad Satelite, Mixco, in the outskirts of Guatemala City Oct 18, 2011. According to local media, three people were washed away by the river in Ciudad Satelite due to a landslide caused by heavy rains. Guatemalan authorities on Wednesday declared the country in "red alert" after a tropical storm called 12E hit. According to the National Coordination of Disaster Reduction, 44 people have died and thousands are affected by the rains. [Photo/Agencies] |
