Disabled man values filial duty

Guo Yurun, 58, feeds his father in Xingda community, Shenyang, Liaoning province on May 25, 2012. Guo lost the use of both his legs to infantile paralysis when he was 5. Since then, he has been using a small wooden stool to get around. Seven years ago, Guo's parents both became ill and Guo had to take care of them. His mother passed away in 2010. Now he is taking care of his bedridden father. "My parents went everywhere to seek medical treatment for me when they were young. Now they are old, I should do my best to take care of them," said Guo. His story has moved many people in his community, and they continue to offer their help. "The community and my neighbors care about me very much. They are all good people," Guo said. [Photo/Xinhua]
