Tremendous fountains of water and sand is discharged from the Xiaolangdi Reservoir on the Yellow River in the Central China’s Henan province, creating a spectacular scene, in the file photo taken on June 19, 2012. The move is to flush silt from the middle and lower reaches of the Yellow River by opening the reservoir's sluice gates. The reservoir conducted its 13th discharge on June 19, 2012.
