A paramilitary police officer guides a bulldozer to clear Highway 217 in Nilka county, Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region on July 3, which was damaged during a 6.6-magnitude quake. The earthquake jolted a mountainous area along the border of Hejing and Xinyuan counties in Northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region on June 30. The quake has caused many cave-ins and landslides which seriously interrupted the traffic.
