Massive renovation at Great Wall's Jiayuguan

Jiayuguan Pass, listed as a world cultural heritage site, is undergoing the largest renovation since its establishment 640 years ago, after years of erosion. The cultural heritage protection project, with a total investment of 2 billion yuan ($328.5 million), also includes setting up a monitoring center and a protection and exhibition center.
