A funereal products shop owner in Qinghuangdao, Hebei province, got into some hot water after he accidentally delivered wreaths to the wrong home.

The owner, Cao, responded to the wrong house and the homeowner, Fei, was so upset that he and his relatives attacked the man and forced him to pay 30,000 yuan ($4,400) for "mental injury."

Later on, Cao called the police, who charged Fei with unlawful detention. Last week, Fei was sentenced to three years in prison for the extortion with four years probation, after he gave back the money he extorted.
